Meet the Home Inspector

About The Home InspectorKerry_Staudt_250sq

Kerry Staudt performed his first home inspection in 1989 and he still climbs the same ladder purchased for that inspection. His professional background consists of general contractor, remodeler, and architectural designer. Although Kerry has over 35 years of experience in construction related fields, continuing education is important to him. His annual education credits are normally twice the minimum requirements. These experiences give him the advantage when it comes to understanding how the houses he inspects are constructed in order to better serve you.

Kerry is an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI). ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) is the oldest and most respected national home inspector association. He currently serves as Vice President of the Keystone ASHI Chapter in Reading, Pa. Keystone ASHI meets monthly to discuss any changes in our industry and also to share in our collective experiences from the field among our group of almost 20 inspectors.

Kerry is a PSMA (Pennsylvania Septage Management Association) certified septic inspector. You can be assured, The Home Inspection Guru septic inspections are thorough and performed to the only established and accepted standards that exist.

He volunteers with The Affordable Housing Council of Lebanon County. He is the Home inspector explaining the home inspection process at their first-time home buyer classes and is also a Pennsylvania DEP certified radon testing individual.
